Letter to the Editor: Villages meeting on transportation trails

To the Editor:

The ” meeting ” to discuss safety additions on trails will be a useless endeavor. The majority are in favor of increasing night time safety but the engineer and power’s to be favor aesthetics. I have heard of all the “stupid” excuses and read the critics and it seems like it is more beneficial to change the flowers frequently rather than pay for striping and maintaining them. I will not waste my time attending this farce as the decision has already been made. I understand business thinking and would not live in any other place other than the villages, especially living here 17 years, but improvements can always be made especially when safety and lives are at risk.
