A 42-year-old Lady Lake woman was arrested early Sunday morning at Carmendy Square apartments on a charge of domestic battery.
Lady Lake police were called to an apartment at 2:45 a.m. after Susan A. Ward got into an argument with her husband. She was intoxicated, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
They had had guests over and after the guests left, the argument began. The husband went into their nine-year-old’s son room to get away from her, but she followed him. She later began kicking him, the arrest report indicated.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail and later released after posting $250 bond.
She is due for arraignment May 19 in Lake County Court.
