A 40-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence following an accident at 11 a.m. Monday at Griffin View Road and U.S. Hwy. 27/441.
Nathan Liam Schalm provided breath samples that registered .280 and .273 blood alcohol content, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
He had rear-ended a car driven by Daniel Charles Weber, 71, of Lady Lake.
Schlam was booked at the Lake County Jail and later released after posting $1,000 bond.
He is due for arraignment June 2 in Lake County Court.
