A 23-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after he was found passed out early Saturday morning in the parking lot at Sam’s Club.
Cody Shane Ruolo, who lives in the Lake North Apartments on County Road 466, was carrying a Nike bag when he was discovered at about 4 a.m., according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He allowed police to search his bag, and in it they discovered a bottle of Irish Cream Liquor, three bottles of Stella Artois beer and a prescription bottle containing 14.5 Xanax pills. The prescription was not in his name, the arrest report indicated. A later search turned up a beta-blocker pill in Ruolo’s wallet.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was released on $2,000 bond.
He is due for arraignment June 8 in Lake County Court.
