Janice B. Reeves, 93, of Summerfield, FL, passed from this life, Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Born in Highland, NY Janice was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. During World War II, she was “Rosie the Riveter” working for Boeing in Tacoma, WA. Following the War she dedicated herself to her marriage of (61) years and her family. Janice moved to Summerfield from Rotunda, FL in 2004. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Summerfield. She enjoyed participating in church activities, playing bridge, crocheting and knitting. Janice was predeceased by her husband James in 2007. She leaves her son, James R. Reeves and wife Pamela of Summerfield; daughters, Diane Reeves of Rochester, MI, Denise Iski of Loudon, TN; (4) grandchildren and (5) great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church, 10495 Sunset Harbor Road, Summerfield, FL at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
