“Bernie” Bernadine A. Savage, 87, The Villages, FL passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 19, 2015. Beloved wife of Paul D. Savage Sr. deceased, she was born in Cleveland, OH and has resided for the last 31 years in The Villages, FL. She was retired from Publix lovingly known as “hot dog lady” and loved her job. She was a medalist in table tennis and badminton, enjoyed water volleyball, card games, was an avid bowler, loved bingo and excelled in all. Bernie is survived by Paul & Jean Savage of Ohio; Virginia Savage (Rob) Claussen of Florida; Brenda & Brian Bishop of Ohio; Debra & Jim Bader of Florida; Tom & Linda Savage of Ohio; Dale & Gina Savage of Florida; 13 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service.
