A warrant has been issued for a 19-year-old who was arrested after he allegedly attempted to steal underwear May 22 from Belk in The Villages.
Logan Scott Peoples of Jonesboro, Ark. had been arrested by Lady Lake police at the store at La Plaza Grande shopping center. He had posted $500 bond and was released from the Lake County Jail.
However, Peoples failed to show up for his arraignment in Lake County Court in front of Judge Donna F. Miller. A warrant for failure to appear has been issued. This time, Peoples’ bond will be set at $2,000, according to Lake County Court records.
