A 27-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested on a charge of retail theft Monday after he allegedly tried to steal a spark plug and can of brake fluid from Wal-Mart.
Michael D. Norris of 211 Longview Ave. allegedly tried to conceal the items in his shorts and leave the Leesburg store without paying for them, according to an arrest affidavit from the Leesburg Police Department.
Norris has two prior convictions for theft, the arrest report indicated.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond, which he later posted and was released.
