Clown Alley 179 is celebrating National Clown Week with a big show Sunday at Savannah Center.
Lady Lake Mayor Ruth Kussard kicked off National Clown Week by issuing a proclamation at Monday night’s commission meeting in honor of the event. The mayor even sported a red nose in keeping with the light-hearted spirit of the occasion.
Clown Alley 179 will offer their free clown show, “The Funz a Poppin!,” beginning at noon Sunday at Savannah Center. To save your spot for the show, sign up at any regional recreation center.
The hour-long show will include music and magic. There will be a meet-and-greet, balloons, cotton candy and photo opportunities from 1 to 2 p.m.
