The Amenity Authority Committee has approved a lighting project for Mulberry Grove Recreation Center that exceeds its budgeted price by $23,400.
The total bid put forth by Grant Electric LLC was $258,400. The budgeted amount was $235,000.
The project will improve lighting at the recreation center in the Marion County portion of The Villages. It was noted that Grant Electric previously did a similar job at Savannah Center with positive results.
