David Amsellem, 80, of Lady Lake, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in The Villages, FL. He was born in Oran, Algeria and came to The Villages from Brockton, MA in 1997. He was a retired supervisor for Franklin Sportswear and also worked for the Daily Sun for 13 years as an inserter before retiring. He was a member of Temple Shalom and served in the French Army. He is survived by his wife Rose E. Amsellem, Lady Lake, FL; daughter Kathy (Curt) Brockmeyer, Mt. Dora, FL and granddaughter Katie Marie Brockmeyer. A funeral service will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
