James D. Fulk, 71, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015. Mr. Fulk was born March 11, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to Vernon and Grace (O’Neill) Fulk. Jim was a Shortridge High School graduate and earned a civil engineering degree from Purdue University. He retired after 30 years of managing construction projects all over the country and moved to The Villages in 2008 from Ballwin, MO. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed golfing, music, walking and dancing. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Cora; daughter, Libby Boulais (Gerry) of Indianapolis, IN, step-daughter Kristina McClelland (Dwight) of Granite Falls, WA; mother, Grace Fulk of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Kristine Starr (Roger) of Jasper, IN and Ann Rouse (John) of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Genevieve, Jacques and Remy Boulais, Thomas Coleman, Katie Jackson, and Jim’s first wife and mother of Libby, Jan Robbins. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Kathlene Obringer and father, Vernon Fulk.
