Three children transported after pickup truck runs into school bus

Three children were transported from the scene of a collision between a pickup truck and school bus at 6:30 a.m.Monday in Seminole County.

As the driver of the bus, 46-year-old Gloria Austin of Sanford, picked up the last child and started to move forward, a 2000 Tacoma pickup truck driven by Jason Clarke, 33, of Winter Park failed to stop in time and struck the bus, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Clarke was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
