I hear it everyday on the radio that children have to be 14 to drive a golf cart or could be ticketed. I, personally, don’t think the 14 year old should be ticketed but the grandparent or parent should be ticketed as they should know better. What kind of a lesson are they teaching their child or grandchild. When my nephew turned 14, he called and reminded us that when he came for a visit this summer he was 14 and could drive our cart. How many children have you seen standing between the legs of the adult and driving the cart? Have you seen the grandparent who allows the child to drive while his/her two siblings who are standing in the back strapped in like golf bags? I can’t imagine how I would feel if my child or grandchild was injured or killed by the stupid actions of adults. Please encourage the police department to better police these stupid actions before we have an innocent child killed.
