The development group that brought Best Buy, Kohl’s, Stein Mart and Bed, Bath & Beyond to Lady Lake is poised to unveil plans for its next major venture.
The Benchmark Group will present its plan for a new multi-tenant building on an 80,750 square foot development on an 18-acre parcel of land.
The plan will be presented at 5:30 p.m. today to the Lady Lake Commission meeting in a special session at Town Hall.
The group has negotiated to secure the 18 acres currently owned by the Fennell family. The land is located directly across from Benchmark’s Lady Lake Crossing on U.S. Hwy. 27/441. Lady Lake Crossing is home to Stein Mart, Ulta Beauty and McDonalds.
The new shopping center will have an architectural theme consistent with Lady Lake Crossing and Village Crossroads.
Tenants for the shopping center have yet to be announced.
