Robert Harpole, “Bob the Hurricane” 89, of the Villages, FL, passed away on February 25, 2016. He was born in Chicago, IL. He was a machine designer for Abbott Laboratories and moved to the Villages in 1992. He enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, working out at the MVP club, and going out for dinner and staying home with his wife Gloria.
Survivors include his wife Gloria, sons Robert Jr., John and Jim and daughters Lynda and Audrey, step-children Jim and Jackie, and 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Lady Lake chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1st at 11 a.m.
