Diane D. Schuck, 78, of The Villages FL, passed from this life Saturday, March 12, 2016. Born in Minneapolis, MN, May 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Peterson) Dugan.
Diane was an executive travel agent for Carlson Marketing of Minneapolis, MN. Her career allowed her to travel extensively and to experience many cultures.
Following retirement she came to The Villages from MN in 2006, loving every minute since.
She was a former member of the Confederate Air Force. Diane enjoyed helping others and was very instrumental in the development of her daughter Jennifer’s equestrian career. She and her husband John were avid polo participants and members of The Villages Irish American Claddagh Club, the Duval Club and the Minnesota Club.
Diane leaves her beloved husband of 56 years, John Henry Schuck; son, Steven Schuck of Austin, TX; daughter, Jennifer Schuck and her life partner, Jami Walker, of Maple Plain, MN; brothers, Philip Dugan and his wife Thais of Minneapolis, MN; C. Patrick Dugan and wife Gertie, of The Villages, FL; sisters, Jane Karpuleon and her husband Billy of The Villages, FL; Ann Barndt and her husband Bob of Eagle River, AK; 7 first cousins and many 2nd & 3rd cousins.
A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN or Mother’s Attic, c/o St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL.
