Joseph John Worst, 88,of The Villages, FL, passed from this life Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Joseph was a Marine Corp veteran of World War II. Joseph attended Holy Cross College, Worcester, MA and graduated from New York University (NYU), New York.
He was a retired salesman for the A. P. Greene Co. in New York.
Joseph came to The Villages in 2007. He loved The Villages. He enjoyed eating out at Francesco’s Restaurant and Pasta Faire as well as the attentiveness and courtesy of the wonderful waitresses at both restaurants.
He was a people person who loved and played sports all of his life.
He was very fond of his nieces and nephews and his best friends Patricia and Pudge Williams of The Villages.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 3 – 5 and 6 – 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, The Villages on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
