Loretta Marie O’Connell, 74, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life on April 10, 2016.
Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Teresa (Castorino) Dennis.
Loretta was employed by Con-Edison, Long Island, NY and was treasurer and secretary for the Con-Edison Group, The Villages. She taught school for several years and was an Avon representative for 40 years.
She came to The Villages with her late husband Philip in 2000. She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield and was the Queen Mom of the Strawberry Tart Red Hat Society.
She leaves many friends including Mary Dillon and Colette and Mark Marini of The Villages.
A visitation will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mark the Evangelist Church on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 a.m.
