Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera will be the featured speaker at a luncheon next month sponsored by the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be held at 11:30 a.m. June 8 at Sumter Grand Independent Living on County Road 466A in The Villages.
Lopez-Cantera, a Republican, is running in the Aug. 30 primary and hoping to advance to the general election to replace Marco Rubio in the U.S. Senate.
