A “Meet the Education Candidates Night” is set for Thursday evening at Savannah Center.
The event is being staged by The Villages Republican Club.
The program begins at 7 p.m. and will be preceded by a social time starting at 6:30 p.m.
The program will feature an opportunity for all locally elected education candidates to make a five-minute presentation. Then those attending the event can meet with candidates in a kiosk setting.
“Education is at a critical stage and we all need to be informed and involved,” said Cliff Baker of The Villages Republican Club.
