A woman was arrested Sunday afternoon after she allegedly attempted to steal a shopping-cart load of merchandise worth $335.
Kathleen H. Vansant, 34, of Summerfield was arrested on a charge of grand theft in connection with the incident at Wal-Mart in Summerfield, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
She was booked at the Marion County Jail.
