Commission to hold special meeting to consider proposed gun range

The Lady Lake Commission will meet in a special session Monday to consider a proposal for a new indoor gun range.

The facility would be built on a 12-acre parcel located just north of the Lady Lake Realty Site, north of Griffin View Drive and east of U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

The 24,150-square-foot building would include a 20-lane tactical and bull’s eye indoor gun range. It would also include a gun shop and educational area.

The Lady Lake Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m., ahead of the commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m.
