

A 56-year-old Village of De La Vista man is facing felony charges of burglary and larceny after allegedly stealing and pawning tools from a barn in Oxford.
A man who owns the barn on U.S. 301 reported that Ryobi power tools, battery chargers and other items had been taken from his property. He told a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy that he suspected Danny Scott Hollins who lives on Aldama Avenue in The Villages and 41-year-old Shauna Rae Maynard of Oxford.
The deputy discovered that Hollins had pawned several items between March 10 and June 6.
Hollins was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $12,000 bond.
Maynard was also arrested on felony charges of burglary and larceny. She was also booked on $12,000 bond.
