George Allen Hill, 73, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was the husband of Dolores Hill for 38 years.
George was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was a proud veteran of The United States Army where he played the clarinet. He and his wife married in 1977 and lived in Astoria Queens, NY. They moved to Georgia in 1978 where he worked for Boeing as a project manager. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed supporting his children’s love of sports. George was proud of his Greek heritage and culture, especially the food and festivals. After retirement he and his wife moved to Florida where he could relax and enjoy his love of golf.
Survivors include wife Dolores Hill; brothers Ed and wife Helene Hill, Tom and wife Rosanne Hill; son and wife, William & Katie Hill; daughter and husband, Jessica & J.W. Cantrell. He is also survived by his two grandsons Tyler Cantrell and Parker Hill.
