To the Editor:
A big thank you to the Villages Fire and Rescue for rescuing our dog Addie from beneath the deck of a close neighbor. It wasn’t easy. Addie had chased a huge possum under the deck and was stuck. Part of the deck had to be removed to get her out. Thank you local fireman and Kathy Porter for being so kind as to let us remove some planks from her deck. It will be repaired. Addie has been to the vet and it appears other than frightened, she is fine.
