Charles B. Ellis, 78, The Villages, FL, died peacefully at home on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Charlie retired from Butler Automatic before moving to The Villages in 2004. He was an avid golfer and loyal Boston Red Sox fan. Charlie served honorably in the United States Air Force and was a member of St. George Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Deanna, his twin sister, Charlotte Hefford and brother Richard Ellis (Judy), nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church, 1250 Paige Place, The Villages.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. George Episcopal Church or the SPCA of Sumter County.
