To the Editor:
My wife and I got “the letter.” As soon as I picked up the letter, I told my wife it was all about money for the Morse family. We analyzed our choice last November and decided that we wanted insurance that was best for us, not for the Morse family. I had a heart procedure within the last year which cost us nothing on our current plan. We have concluded that every time an insurance company adds a word to the end of an insurance program’s name (i.e., Advantage) it is a lesser policy. The Villages Health put out bids to get the best deal for them, not for their patients. We have been here for sixteen years and have seen example after example of the same thing. It’s all about the Morse family coffers. How much is too much money?
