A woman was arrested Monday after she allegedly threatened her husband and their cats with a butcher knife at The Quarters Apartments in Lady Lake.

Debroah B. Ishwerwood, 51, was arrested at 4:29 p.m. on a charge of battery, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

When an officer arrived on the scene, Ishwerwood’s husband said his wife had threatened him with a butcher knife and had threatened to kill their cats, the report indicated. He also said she had been drinking and she threatened to jump from their third-floor balcony.

Isherwood admitted she had been drinking, but said it was her husband who had threatened her.

She was arrested on a charge of battery and booked on $5,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
