Patricia L. Smith, 77, The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Pat was born in Michigan City, Indiana to Francis and Myrtle Fedder and moved to The Villages, FL in 2000. Pat enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of The German-American Club, Polo Ridge Club, Irish-American Club and The Red hats Club in The Villages. Pat was a legal secretary and worked in Property and Casualty insurance in Michigan City. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Smith, and son William M. Smith. Pat is survived by her daughter Lynne (Matt) Beckette, of Fruitland Park FL; a brother, Tom Fedder, Michigan City, Indiana; 7 grandaughters and 15 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, FL on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, Michigan City, Indiana on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice of Lake and Sumter counties, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
