Kelly Douglas “Smokey” Stover, 68, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. Mr. Stover was born February 11, 1948 in Norton, VA to William Elmer and Bertha Clara (Roberts) Stover. Smokey has lived here most of his life. He was a retired construction foreman and a Baptist. Smokey was preceded in death by the love of his life, Theresa and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Bruce and Jessica Cross; step-daughters, Melissa Barrs and Cora Barrs; brother, David Stover (Trudy); sister, Sue Edmondson (Arthur); 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Smokey’s family and friends will gather from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel to celebrate his life.
