A crew is working on a 26,540-square-foot multi-specialty medical facility on Rolling Acres Road.
The clinic is being built on about 10 acres of land between Ro-Moc and the Citizens First Bank’s operations center.
Stephen Roth, who is spearheading the project,has said his target date for opening the clinic is February 2017.
The clinic was approved by the Lady Lake Commission earlier this year. The project had been dogged by concerns about increased traffic on Rolling Acres Road, which has already been declared a “failing road.” Lake County officials have indicated there is no money to make improvements to the busy thoroughfare.
But in a public meeting, Lake County economic development representatives praised the project and residents ultimately told town officials they believed the good would outweigh the bad. You can read about that meeting HERE
