It’s not unusual for a 70-year-old man to confess to a doctor that he’s a little overweight.

And it’s hardly a rarity for a 68-year-old woman to contract pneumonia.

But when you’re both running for the White House, it makes headlines.

In America’s Healthiest Hometown, where most residents start the day with a game of golf or pickleball, a brisk walk or yoga, good health is a frequent topic of conversation.

Last week, Donald Trump admitted to Dr. Oz that he eats too much fast food and could stand to lose a few pounds. On the plus side, Trump says he doesn’t imbibe, save for a little communion wine.

Trump’s rival, Hillary Clinton, was bombarded with questions about her health after she was whisked away from a 9-11 ceremony in New York City. Her campaign announced she was suffering from pneumonia and the Democratic presidential candidate took a few days off from the brutal campaign trail.

When you’re running to be the leader of the free world, being in good health would seem to be a prerequisite for the job.

Maybe the candidates would be better off in The Villages. Can you see The Donald taking up softball? How about Bill and Hillary line dancing at the square?

Tell us what you think. Who’s healthier?
