JoAnn Wright, 70, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016. JoAnn and her husband, Danny, moved to The Villages in 2005 from Duluth, Minnesota. She was a wonderful wife and mother; home and family were the center of her heart. JoAnn was a passionate member of Fairway Christian Chruch serving on the January Jewels Committee and a member of the Life Bible Study Group. She was a terrific supporter and fan of her husband and his softball teams. Operation Shoebox was very important to her and she worked hard for them. She and Danny travelled extensively throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Presetta Kobi and her sister, Jackie Kobi.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Danny Wright; children, Melissa Anderson (Rick),Christopher Wright; grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Zahra and Devin Anderson; great grandchild, Natylee Anderson; sister, Doreen Eagleton (Jack); sisters-in-law, Cara Monnier (Roger), Kim Sajec, Kelly Altman; brother-in-law, Michael Wright (Jeanne);numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Kathy McLaughlan, Judy Amotozio, Marge Ross, Pat Wallace, Kathy Williams, Janet Linder, and Nancy Rogers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10am with a memorial service immediately following at 11am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages.
