Richard C. Brumm, 83, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in his home. He was the husband of Dottie Lou Brumm for 34 years.
Born in Detroit, MI he was a son of the late Charles W. and Rose Mae Brumm. Prior to his retirement he worked in construction. He was a member of the Belleview First Baptist Church. He loved antique cars and enjoyed restoring them.
Richard will be deeply missed by his wife Dottie and daughters, Cyndi Tresslar (Michael) of Belleview, FL and Rebecca Edwards of Alabama and sons: Richard Brumm, Jr. (Kim) of Michigan and Keith Brumm (Lorie), Ocala, FL and, Chad Hightower (Jodi) of Belleview, FL. He was preceded in death by sons, Kevin Brumm, Ronald Brumm and daughter, Carolyn Painter. He had 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church, 3693 SE 95th Street, Ocala, FL 34480 with a funeral service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Michael West.
