The Bands of The Villages (BOTV) is renewing its 10-year tradition of sponsoring a Tuba Christmas Concert with free admission to Villagers and our neighbors.  The concert will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at New Covenant United Methodist Church. 

The concert is a student outreach project of the BOTV featuring traditional Christmas carols played by a 60 + member tuba-euphonium-baritone ensemble  made up of BOTV musicians joined by area middle and high school students.

Jean Butler will conduct the musicians and the always entertaining, George Del Monte, will emcee the event with the audience invited to sing-a-long. The concert includes a demonstration of the various instruments in the ensemble.

Merry Tuba Christmas, which is celebrating its 43rd Anniversary, will be presented in more than 280 cities throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.
