A Villager’s 38-year-old son was sentenced to 10 days in jail following an intoxicated episode at Applebee’s in The Villages.
Lady Lake police were called Nov. 15 to the restaurant on Bichara Boulevard after Keith Barnum reportedly made vulgar comments to staff and guests.
Barnum was located wandering in the drive-through lane at a nearby Burger King. After he was taken into custody, he made insulting remarks to police officers.
The following day, he pleaded no contest to a charge of disorderly intoxication in Lake County Court.
He was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Barnum, who lives with his mother on the Historic Side of The Villages, has been arrested several times this year. You can read more about his criminal history HERE
