The newest restaurant addition to Colony Plaza, Bob Evans, officially opened for business on Tuesday.
After ground broke on the new restaurant in March, construction crews wasted no time getting the building up, staffed, and ready for Villagers in just under a year.

The new Bob Evans staff and management are promising a different experience that is completely tailored to The Villages lifestyle.
Manager Jeremy Lindlau says this particular location was “built by Bob Evans, for The Villages,” pointing to the grab-and-go pickup service that staff believes will invite golf cart traffic unlike any other restaurant in The Villages.
In addition, the Colony Plaza location is the only location in the country to boast an outdoor patio with seating.

The restaurant is also looking to add wine and beer to their menu, something no other restaurant in the chain can claim.
