A 53-year-old woman with previous drunk driving arrests was jailed on a charge of driving under the influence after a report Monday of an erratic vehicle on Griffin View Drive and Gray’s Airport Road.
Brenda S. Pisarcik of Fruitland Park had been at the wheel of a black van that was pulled over as a result of the swerving report.
She denied she had been drinking, although she appeared to be staggering. She failed field sobriety exercises and refused to provide a breath sample. She had three previous DUI arrests, according to a report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
A partially empty bottle of Pinnacle vodka was found in Pisarcik’s vehicle.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail on a DUI charge. Bond was set at $5,000.
