Water Oak residents recently received a letter from St John’s River Water Management District to reduce water usage. The letter was addressed to The Consumptive Use Permit Holder which is Sun Homes owner of Water Oak.
This letter is to encourage to reduce water usage to the maximum extent possible.
While Sun Homes is applying for a permit to drill another well to water golf course. When they are spraying many gallons of water from their wastewater water plant on a spray filed. This water could used to water golf course. I am asking the residents to call Saint Johns water and ask for a public comment meeting on this issue. Call Allen Baggett at 386-329-4565 or email at [email protected] and ask for a Public Comment meeting before they issue a permit to drill a new well for they for golf course. This will give the residents a time to voice their ideas and comments on this issue.
