Hosea Edward Walls, 71, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. Mr. Walls was born August 26, 1945 in Wildwood to E. Marvin and Annie (Cole) Walls. He has lived in Central Florida for all of his life.

Hosea was raised in the Adamsville Baptist Church and was becoming a member of Discovery Church of God. He played high school football and basketball and continued his love of football along with fishing and hunting. Hosea worked for Golden Gem Growers from 1964 until they closed in 2002 working his way up to Vice President of Fresh Fruit. He had traveled the world marketing fruit.

Survivors include his significant other, Carol Stokes of Wildwood; children, Brittney Walls of Mt. Dora, Stephanie Eckhart of Lake Mary, Bart Eckhart of Eustis and Katie Eckhart (Austin Wallace) of Minot, ND; sister, Mary Ann Warfield (David) of Wildwood; sister-in-law, Pam Walls of Wildwood. Hosea was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.

Visitation will be 1 – 2 p.m. with the funeral service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Discovery Church of God, Wildwood. Interment will be in Adamsville Cemetery.
