A 58-year-old Oak Meadows woman was arrested Saturday night after an alleged altercation with her longtime live-in boyfriend.
Brenda Sue Arnold was taken into custody on a charge of domestic battery at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at her residence at 805 Harper Place.
She and her boyfriend of 18 years had been in an argument about their relationship when she allegedly struck him four times about the eye, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. It appeared both of them had been drinking at the time, the report noted.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $5,000 bond.
