The Villages Pittsburgh Club presented a donation of $1,500 on May 9 to The Villages (Cornerstone) Hospice House in memory of its founding president, Joan Lasky, who died Feb. 12 following a lengthy battle with cancer. 

Making the presentation were Pittsburgh Club President Joe Walker of the Village of Piedmont, Vice President Pat Keeney of the Village of Tall Trees, Treasurer Warren Cromer of the Village of Glenbrook, Joan’s sister Rose Haverlack of the Village of Ashland and Secretary Cathy Johnson of the Village of Springdale. Desiree Coleman-Cohrn, Cornerstone Hospice Foundation’s director of legacy planning and major gifts, accepted the donation.
