The annual Poppy drive by the American Legion Auxiliary netted more than $9,000.
The Poppy has become a nationally known and recognized symbol of sacrifice to honor the men and women who served and died for our country in all wars.
Lois Glosch, who led this year’s Poppy drive, said “it was definitely a group effort.”
She wanted to thank all those who donated for their generosity.
The money raised funds veterans programs such as Final Salute (for homeless women vets) and K9 Partners For Patriots which trains the dog along with the veteran who have PTSD and other ailments.
