The Community Development District 5 Board of Supervisors gave preliminary approval to a budget Friday morning that will reduce maintenance assessment fees by three percent in the coming year.
“It is good to see we can pay all our bills, maintain our reserves and still reduce the maintenance assessment fees,” said CDD 5 Chairman Walter Martin.
Final approval will come in the fall.
Also Friday:
• Community Development District 6 supervisors approved a proposed budget that will keep the maintenance assessment fee at the same rate as the previous year.
• Community Development District 8 supervisors also approved a proposed budget that will keep the maintenance assessment fee at the same rate as the previous year.
