Synergy Wealth continues to win with a 20-8 win over CarePlus.

Synergy got four hits each from Jeff Bekasi, George Kennedy, and Al DuBuc; and, three apiece from: Jeff Stein, Bob Buchanan, and Jim Gordon. CarePlus had three hits by its sub pitcher, Ed Krisha; and, two hits by John Wyks, Manny Sanchez, and Paul Winsor.

After defeating CarePlus last week the Gators Brownwood bats went silent as they fell to Softball’s R Game in six innings 17-2.

Gators had three hits by Fred Hughes; and, two from Wayne Grunewald and Jack Nagle. Softball’s R Game was led by sub, Ron Goldman’s 3 hits. Collecting two hits each were: Jim Crabtree, Bill Nisbet, Charles Clare, Dan Kincaid, Jack Meagher, Ed Krisha, Jack Marx, Ed Moriarity, and Ken Link. Link, Krisha, and Crabtree each had a triple and Clare a 2 run homer.

Palm Ridge Dental won its first game of the season defeating FBC Mortgage 16-13.

Paul Justice and Tom Brock led Palm Ridge with four hits each. Carlos Lopez added three hits. The Dental team had four home runs. Furbush had a 2 run homer in the 5th inning; and, Tom Brock, subs, John Goulet and Doug StAndrews had solos all in the top of the 7th inning. FBC got three hits from Tim Wilcox, Jim Joseph, and Chuck Alexander. Marty Berger stroked a double and a triple. Getting two hits each were: Ron Parson, Ed Joseph, Rich Pitts, Mike Labetti, and Gary Coleman.

The Central Florida League will return to action June 13th as the Sertoma Club runs its annual Baseball Clinic for the hearing impaired next week.
