Couples to compete in Dollars for Scholars’ ‘Dancing With OUR Stars’

Look out Rashad Jennings, the Villagers are coming to the dance floor.
Jennings is the former NFL running back who won this year’s “Dancing With the Stars” competition on ABC-TV back in May.
Now, thanks to “The Villages Dollars for Scholars,” four local couples will compete in “Dancing With OUR Stars.” It will be held Friday,  June 9 at SeaBreeze Regional Recreation Center and is already sold out. All money raised will go to scholarships for local students.

The dancing couples are:
Terry and Nancy Mitchell, who will perform a Waltz and Cha Cha.
Michael and Lan Augustus, who will dance a Rumba and Ballroom Tango.
Dave and Lou-Ann Martinez, who will dance an Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing.
Jim and Carolyn Hutchens, who will perform an East Coast Swing and Waltz.
There will also be open dancing.
Judges are: Geri Conrad, Suzanne Crosby, Greg Nelson and Don Wyman.
J.R. “Jim” Zurak, known as “the Z Man” will host the evening.
