A speeding late-night driver on Rolling Acres Road was arrested this past weekend on a charge of driving under the influence.
Brian Espinoza, 22, of Winter Garden, had been spotted shortly after midnight Sunday driving at a high rate of speed, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
During a traffic stop, he was argumentative with police and would not put out a cigarette when he was asked to do so, the report indicated.
He failed field sobriety exercises and refused to provide a breath sample. During an inventory of his vehicle, a half empty bottle of Corona beer was discovered.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
