Warrant issued for 80-year-old Villager who defied judge and skipped court date

A warrant was issued Friday for an 80-year-old Villager who defied a judge’s order and skipped a court date in Lake County.

Richard N. Hendricks had been ordered by Judge William Law on June 5 to return to court three days later. Hendricks didn’t show and the judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

Hendricks had previously forfeited bond in the case in which he allegedly triple billed a snowbird from Michigan for a rental home in the Village of Del Mar.
