The soon-to-be coveted five-acre parcels of Chatham Acres are beginning to take shape on SE Hwy. 42, next to the First Baptist Church at The Villages.
There will be seven home sites with parcels starting at half a million dollars.
The sites are designed to attract horse lovers and “gentlemen farmers.” One site has already been sold.
Homeowners can keep up to four horses on their property in Chatham Acres, which is located in horse-loving Marion County.

Chickens can also be raised, if the coop wins the blessing of the Developer.
The annual homeowners association fee will be $6,624.
Owners will have Villages amenity privileges. Each homeowner will pay a yearly amenity fee.
